As we prepare for the canonisation of Carlo Acutis on the 27th April we invite you to pray and reflect digitally on the gifts and talents of Carlo Acutis, asking the Holy Spirit to guide you as you reflect on your own gifts and on how to use them to serve God in the world.

Lord God, you gifted Carlo Acutis with a heart open to your presence, a passion for sharing your love, and a life lived with purpose and joy. As we walk through this novena, help us to be inspired by his example and draw closer to you. Through the intercession of Blessed Carlo, may we grow in faith, hope, and love.

Day 1: A Modern Saint for Young People
Reflection:
Carlo Acutis was an ordinary teenager with an extraordinary love for Jesus. His devotion to the Eucharist and his desire to share his faith through technology show us that holiness is possible for everyone, especially in today’s world.
Prayer:
Blessed Carlo, help us to see that faith is not distant or outdated but vibrant and alive. Inspire young people to seek Jesus in their lives, just as you did. Help us to use our skills and passions for God’s glory.

Day 2: Finding Joy in the Simple Things
Reflection:
Carlo’s life was filled with joy—whether playing soccer, enjoying nature, or helping his friends. He knew that true happiness came from looking to God, not to oneself.

Blessed Carlo, help us to use technology wisely and for God’s purposes. May our digital lives reflect our faith and our desire to share God’s love.

Reflection:
Even in suffering, Carlo trusted in God’s plan. During his illness, he offered his pain for the Church and found peace in knowing Jesus was with him.
