Thirteenth Sunday of Ordinary Time
Children’s Resource
Thirteenth Sunday of the Year
Cycle A
28th June 2020
In today’s Gospel we are told that Jesus wants us to welcome everybody into our lives the same way that we would welcome Jesus. Some people have special messages about Jesus that they are to share with the whole world, these people are called prophets. Other people teach us about Jesus, just by their good example in how they live like Jesus. These people are call righteous, because they live the right way. This is how Jesus wants us all to live, like Him.

Matthew 10:40-42 ICB
Whoever accepts you also accepts me. And whoever accepts me also accepts the One who sent me. Whoever meets a prophet and accepts him will receive the reward of a prophet. And whoever accepts a good man because that man is good will receive the reward of a good man. Whoever helps one of these little ones because they are my followers will truly get his reward. He will get his reward even if he only gave my follower a cup of cold water.”
Activity
Make and cut out circles with scenes of people making others feel welcome.
Arrange these on a mobile around the central figure of Jesus.
